Kevin
St. Michael is a singer,songwriter and recording artist.
His music is a weathered and worn blend of rock, gospel,
blues, folk and jazz. One of Kevin's strongest
attributes is his ability to sound both fresh and
familiar at the same time. He accomplishes this by
embracing his musical roots and influences but refusing
to be limited by them. Instead, St. Michael uses his
influences and a spirit of experimentation as a starting
point and fine-tunes the initial creative spark into a
highly accessible whole. St. Micheal's constant gigging
and an openness to almost every genre of music has
earned him a reputation as somewhat of a musical
chameleon. Although this eclecticism has made him hard
to categorize it has allowed him to play alongside all
types of performers such as the Grammy nominated Emerson
Drive, CCM chart-toppers Casting Crowns, and the
critically acclaimed Derek Webb to name a few.

"I know there’s something
just beyond the headlights, somebody I'm supposed to be." These
words were the impetus for the debut album from Dave Pettigrew.
Sitting in his home studio one night praying these words, he
began writing what would become "I Will Follow”. What does the
title mean? The question has been asked by so many. The answer
lies deep in Dave’s heart. God doesn't call us to be
businessmen, electricians, bus drivers, musicians or any other
occupation. He calls us to be disciples. He calls us to know
Him, serve Him & witness to others about Him. Of course we need
to have an occupation to support ourselves and the needs of
everyday life, but we're really meant to walk another road.
We're meant to be followers of God and that is the "somebody"
God wants us to be.

My mother
showed me how to find peace in God... how to actually know
Jesus like a personal friend. With such gratitude to have my
mother back and God in my life, my songwriting turned to
Christian music. All my prior musical influences came along
with it so as to make my Christian style unique to anything
else I was hearing on the radio. And so the writing
continues as I continue to grow in my faith in Jesus Christ.
Much of my music has become a testimony in song. I have done
women’s ministry workshops, retreats, weddings, church
services, church worship ministries, conventions, coffee
houses, guitar lessons, etc. A CD of original work was
published in December 2000 entitled, “Beyond This Place”.
Another CD is in the works as of 2010. I live in Bucks
County PA with my wonderful husband of 28 years. We have a
lovely daughter, Amy, living in Jenkintown, PA. Jesus healed
me and has brought me such joy, how can I keep from singing?
